The East Blue
A world type of its own: a closed sea where sailing between islands is the journey. The route runs east to west, from Dawn Island to Loguetown and on to the Reverse Mountain gate.
The world type
- Pick Sea Craft: East Blue on the world screen (it is selected for you), or set
level-type=seacraft:east_blueon a server. Vanilla types stay as they are. - A closed sea. Almost no land outside the islands. Small islets sit between them so the sea is never empty: sandbars, rock stacks, palm islets and wrecks.
- A sea floor worth diving. Several underwater biomes, each with its own water colour, fog, floor and life, including a trench and kelp forests.
- Charted before you arrive. Every route island is generated and every building checked block by block before the first player joins.
- Map updates keep your edits. When a new version improves an island, an outdated world asks before updating, backs up first and merges the new buildings with what players built.
The route
Dawn Island is playable now. The other islands arrive in later updates.
- Dawn Island The spawn. Foosha Village by the sea, Mt. Colubo's forested ridge, the bandit road and camps, and the cliff where the Lord of the Coast surfaces. Read more

The edges
- The Red Line walls the sea on the west, north and east: red rock far too high to climb.
- The Calm Belt closes the south: windless and still, a graveyard of sunken ships over the nests of sea beasts.
- The Reverse Mountain gate in the south-west corner is the only way on.
